Effect of addition feenel seeds on productive traits of two breeds of japanes quail

Abstract

This study was performed on 360 chicks of white quail and desest quail to show the effect of the strain and different levels of the feedel seeds at 0.5 and 1 %of add libtum by three treatments and three replicates for each strain. The results showed significant differences(p<=0.05)and the rate of feed consumption between the two breeds,The favor is desrt quail population. The differences were significant (p<=0.05) in the formula of the food conversation coefficient and the percentage of losses and the ratio of the correlation between the two breeds .As for feeding treatment, significant differences (p<=0.05)in body weight were found at age(4_6)and (1_6)weeks.fodder consumption rate, feed conversation factor, and correlation rate at age(1_3)and(4_6)and(1_6) week, whereas the difference in feed conversation factor and correlation rate at age(1_6) was not significant. As for the interaction between the strain and the mortality rate at age (1_6) was not significant. As for internation between the strain and the treatment, the results of the statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences (p<=0.05) in the body weight at the age of (3_6) a week and the rates of daily weight gains in feed consumption and food conversation coefficient and dressing percentage and mortality rate at the age of (1_3)(4_6)and (1_6)weeks.It is therefore possible to conclude that the desert quail strain and the second treatment 0.50% of the sweet bean were significantly superior to compared other of the treatment.
