The lmpact of Gardens of ldeas in Developing Meta-Cognation Thinking for the Girl-Students of the fourth Literary Class in the History Subject

Abstract

The resarch aimed at knowing "The impact of gardens of ideas in developing meta-cognation thinking for the girl-students of the fourth literary class in the history subject theough verifying the rightness of the following hypotheses:1-There was no significant difference at level (0,05) among the mean of degrees of post meta – cognition thinking measurement for the girl students in the experimental group who studied the history subject accrding to the steps of gardens of ideas and the gil students in the control group who studied this subject according to the traditional method followed.2- There was no significant difference at level (0,05) among the mean of degrees of pre meta – cognition thinking measurement and the mean of degrees of post meta – cognition thinkingfor the girl students in the experimental group who studied the history subject accrding to the steps of gardens of ideas.3- There was no significant difference at level (0,05) among the mean of degrees of pre meta – cognition thinking measurement and the mean of degrees of post meta – cognition thinking measurement for the girl students in the control group who studied this subject accrding to the traditionai method folled .The resarcher applied the experimental approach which was characterized by the partial control as a design of the research .To carry out this she intentionally selected (Antakya Secondary Girl School ) related to the General Education Diretorate / Diyala province / Al- Khalis district . Two sections of the fourth literary class were chosen and distributed randomaly to represent one of them experimental group and the other control group. The investigation sample was (64) students (32) students in the experimental group andايعزر ايجايح ٚايغبعٛ تز ١ً رٜالى / 2017318(32) students in the control group the research used the statistical means of Spss program.Each of (the T test for the tow correlated pearson.The researcher made among students the equivalence of the variables:(month),the parents,education levels,the social security events,the degrees of the post test of the metncognition thinking ,the degrees of the last year in the hinstory subject, and the degrees of intelligence test).The researcher explained the meta-cognition thinking measurement in the light of the steps from the skills of the the meta-cognition thinking, which are planning ,observing and assessment for the samples students for each item concerning the History of slamic Arab Civilization. The researcher up(135)behavioral objectives in the primary coining and after researcher them to a geoup of specialists , there were modification and omission of some objectives to be the final form (129)behavioral objectives involved in Blooms classification of six that included five chapters from the book of the History of Islamic Arab specimen of teaching plans proper to the two groups(experimental and researcher arrived at the following results:The exceed of the students of the experimentel group versus the students of the control group in the measurement of the the meta-cognition thinking in the subject of History of Islamic Arab civilization.There was growth in an incrasing form between the degrees of the of post meta-cognition thinking the control group.Theresearchersset up many recommendations,some of them are the following:The applying of the gardens of ideas in teaching the history subject for the girl-students of the fourth litersry class because it increases the development of meta-cognition thinking.Making training courses including gardens of ideas for the teachers of the history subject during the serving period.The researcher presented some suggestions such as:Making other researches about the impact of gardens of ideas on other variables (like:the creative thinking ,presupposrtion, historical thinking and the knowledge motivation towards different studying subjects.
