The Attitude of the United Nations from the Palestinian Existence in Lebanon 1965-1970

Abstract

After the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 and the Arab-Israel, the result was a forced displacement of a large number of the Palestinians out of their country to neighboring countries like Lebanon. The Lebanese government received them and built special camps to settle them down.Afterwards, the Palestinians started to organize themselves and work to liberate their country. They launched military attacks against Israel from Lebanese soil. Consequently, there was a dispute between the Lebanese government and the members of the Palestinian resistance.Israel was responding to those attacks by military operations on Lebanese soil targeting both the Lebanese and Palestinians. Consequently, the Lebanese diplomacy in the United Nations was active with raising complaints against Israel to the Security Council which gathered and incriminated those attacks. The reality is that Israel never compelled to those decisions
