The Role Of Culture in Translation from English into Arabic language

Abstract

The present study aims at identifying the relationship between culture and translation from English into Arabic. It consists of three sections; the first section contains the problem of the study, the purpose, the aims, and the procedures conducted in the current work. The second section contains the introduction, culture, translation, the role of culture in translation, translation of culture in specific terms, culture and translation..etc. The third section contains a conclusion and finally bibliography. The major issue in this paper is culture. The term ‘culture’ refers to certain rules and standards that are acted upon by a group community who behave in the way that lies within a range of specific issues. Translation can be stated as a satisfactory understanding of the original language (source language) and an acceptable expertise of the language to the way of a person translates (receptor language). Finally, no language can exist unless it is steeped in the context of culture and no culture occurs with the absence of having some linguistic structures of the everyday language.
