Network Integrity protection (f9) and Data Confidentiality (f8) using Stream Ciphering

Abstract

Network security is the activity used to protect your network, data and manages access to the network to stop any treats on your network. There are two types of security hardware and software methods. Integrity (f9) and data confidentiality (f8) are the basic parts of the network security system. In this paper, the performance of stream ciphering specifically Rivest Cipher 4 method (RC4) is used to design the Integrity (f9) and data confidentiality (f8). Rivest Cipher 4 method is used successfully in many Encryption application but in this work, it used for network security aspects.
