Abstract

The architectural and artistic aspect is an important pillar in the archaeological studies, and it contributes significantly and effectively to reaching the facts of archaeological studies. Through architecture, scientists have decoded the cuneiform script and other archaeological achievements left by societies throughout the ages, including the Arab-Islamic community through long historical roles, And to know the stages of their development and the extent of their impact in other civilizations or affected by each other, and the proportion of that impact. The study of architecture Islamic architecture is the essence of archaeological studies if it is true and can be counted as the most prominent means in this, especially in the study, which deals with the cities, which are the total fabric of the urban city, which is one of the wonderful achievements of the Iraqi architecture in the city of Kirkuk This study concerned the city because it is a few studies and rare, As well as formed fertile aspect and provided us with a large area in the talk about these buildings, which constitute the important pillar in the composition of the city's architecture and the link to the daily life of people, mosques perform the five prayers, as well as meetings and events As well as other buildings such as civil and military architecture. The nature of the research necessitated its division into an introduction and three sections, which were represented by pictures and maps of the research: Combining the first topic: a statement of the location and history of the city of Kirkuk and its archaeological and heritage, and the treatment of the second topic: Dar Tayfour and its history and planning. The third topic: decorations of Dar Tayfour and shapes and then came the conclusion of the most important findings reached by the researcher and then the annexes, which included the drawings and pictures of the house included in the study.
