Evaluation of the level of educational competencies of the teachers of physical education in primary schools in the province of Basra sector stronghold

Abstract

The current research represents a mini-study to evaluate the efficiency of physical education teachers in primary schools in Basrah Governorate in the management of physical education lesson. The researcher aimed to identify some competencies agreed upon by the experts. The study also aimed to prepare a form to assess the level of learning competencies of the physical education teachers aimed at raising the level of these competencies. The researcher used the descriptive method for its suitability and the nature of the problem. Random sample. The researcher prepared the research tool, which consists of a note form that included (5) areas of teaching competencies and includes (50) paragraphs. The study was carried out with several conclusions. In light of this, a number of recommendations were prepared, including (urging the teachers of physical education for the primary stage in the development of self-learning competencies, intensifying the courses and supporting the teachers in enhancing the evaluation process).
