Women and the challenges of political reform: Iraq is a model

Abstract

The current political process in Iraq since 2003 demands real political reforms, especially with the security and economic challenges, rampant corruption and waste of public funds, and placing of inappropriate people in decision-making and power positions. This requires a number of reforms in the political process in Iraq, as well as the role of the side factors as factors pressing that indicate the sites of weakness which require to reform. Women had a role in the reform process, whether through political institutions such as Parliament in the legislation of laws or disclosure of corruption files or through Civil society organizations in the process of monitoring and detect imbalances and corrupt. المقدمـة
