Convergent thinking among kindergarten children

Abstract

Current research goal to know:- The level of convergent thinking in children research sampleDifferences in Convergent Thinking by Variable Type (Male and Female) The research sample was chosen by random method, where the number of children sample (100) boys and girls (47) males and (53) females were selected from four kindergartens within the Directorate of Education Rusafa first in the province of Baghdad, to achieve the objectives of the current research the researcher built a convergent thinking test After extracting honesty and consistency in its final form of (23) paragraphs, the appropriate statistical methods were used to reach the results, namely:1.The children of Riyadh have a good level of convergent thinking.2. There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in convergent thinkingIn the light of these results, the researcher made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are:1. The need to pay attention to the enrichment of kindergartens, toys, tools and educational means that enrich the imagination and creativity of the child.A number of proposals were also developed, including:1. Conducting a correlative study to know the relationship between convergent thinking and other types of thinking.
