The Narrative space in the Novels of Abdulla Esa Salama

Abstract

The narrative studies constitute an important field of uncovering the aesthetical characteristics of narration as semantic structures which involve expressional and artistic values . These studies aims at the innovative product and manifesting the novelist intention . The novel space is considered one of the most important and effective elements in the progress of the event . It is the spatial-temporal space in which characters and objects show connectedness with events as well as a tight cohesive relation with all the elements of narration including events , characters , dialogue and even description .
