Abstract

The importance of this research is to study the physical and moral motives of the work which are represented by wages and incentives and its influence in the employees' performance inside their working environment which could be different according to the work nature, thus for every production unit or enterprise, there is a certain style that being followed to achieve its goals.This research describes the certain kinds of the wages and incentives, its classification and payment methods, and its influence on the employees' performance and desire in work.The research presumes that there exists a positive relationship between labor motives and the performance level of employees inside the production unit, the research focused on the employees (administrators and technicians) in the technical college of management for the academic year 2009-2010, a questionnaire paper was circulated that involved a certain information concerning the research subject covering 8 areas in a group of questions that had been answered completely, which helped testing the research hypothesis.
