Perceptions of University Staff in relgon of Kurdestan to the Phenomenon of Publishing Classified Documents in the Site "Wikileaks"

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the nature of perceptions (positive, negative) held by the university staff to the phenomenon of publishing classified documents in the site "Wikileaks",as well as to detect significant differences in these perceptions according to the variables: gender, age, specialization, the certificate and the scientific title and university from which he graduated.The research dependent on a questioner included 36 paragraph, for each paragraph there is five alternatives for the answer. Been applied to a sample of (180) staff member were randomly selected from the universities of Salah al-Din, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.After analyzing the data statistically the results showed that respondents have positive perceptions were about (29) paragraph within the paragraphs of the survey. And showing no significant differences in perceptions according to the variables of sex, age, degree and the university from which he graduated, while there was significant differences in perceptions due the variables of specialization and scientific title.
