The Impact of a Suggested Educational Program Using Kinetic Stories to Learn some Basic Elementary Movements in Handball for Pre-School Kids

Abstract

The paper falls into Five Parts:Part One: Introduction and paper Importance:The role of kindergartens is the first educational method that will bear with the family the responsibility of building up the child’s character in a balanced manner because of the availability of various kinetic and rational expertise by using many types of kinetic story styles. The game has become an international one and this stipulates that it should be taught to children are no less than 8-9 years old. The Problem of the paper:The athletic begins to play handball in a rather late age lacking the basic kinetic skills of the game. The researcher thus deemed it necessary to set up an educational program using kinetic stories style in learning some basic movements preparatory for learning some skills for pre-school children. Researchers hold that this study would have a great influence on pre-school children in terms of learning some basic skills to be the core in spreading and developing the game in the country.The Paper’s two Goals:-Setting up a suggested educational program using the kinetic stories style in learning some prepatory basic movement in pre-school children for the handball game.-Recognizing the impact of the suggested educational program using kinetic stories style.The Hypothesis:-There are statistical differences between the pre and post –learning tests.The Scope of the Paper:The Human scope: 40 children from the Nursery .The Temporal scope: The period continued from 21/April/2008-28/ May/2008 The Spatial Scope: The playing-grounds and halls of Al-Angham Nursery in Karbala Provence.Part Two; This part tackles the theoretical aspects of the paper.Part Three: This part deals with methodology and procedures of the paper . The researchers used the experimental method using the equivalent samples and then the research sample was chosen according to the deliberate method from the research society who represent some nurseries in the provence of Karbala. The sample included 40 children from Al-Angham Nursery divided equally into two groups and a control group.Part Four This part shows, analyses and discusses the results. The researchers have shown the results of the samploe group individuals that they arrived at and analysed scientifically.Part Five This part includes the suggestions and recommendations reached which are as follows:-The differences were obvious between the followed method by the nursery adminstration and the method of the kinetic story by the researchers and for the favor of the kinetic story style which means that the method is effective in learning the the basic forms.-The weakness in learning the basic form (Deception) of nursery children in the followed methodology by the adminstration compared with the kinetic story style followed by the researchers.-The kinetic story contains many styles in learning movement forms made their learning easier because they excite the child to offer the best he could.-The recommendatioons came as follows:The reliance on the kinetic story as a basic style in learning the forms of basic movements.The preparation of teachers specialized in this field by enlisting them in special courses .The provision of the necessary equippment that the school or the nursery need in order to make the process successful.The preparation of a brochure of the kinetic story distibuted on the adminstrations of the nuseries.
