Abstract

The Doping effect by methyl orange on Optical Constants (Refractive index (n), extinction coefficient (K0), real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant (εr &εi) of polystyrene (PS) that added to this polymer with percentage 4% with thickness (20)µm have been studied. This study has been done by recording the absorption and transmission spectra in the wavelength range (190-1100) nm . The results shown that each of absorption, extinction coefficient and imaginary part of dielectric constant increased in doped sample while the transmission, refractive index and real part of dielectric constant decreased.
