Effective use of interactive video to develop some skills of deception in basketball for the students in physical education and sports at the University of Al-Aqsa

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using interactive video to develop some skills of deception in basketball for the students in physical education and sports at the University of Al-Aqsa, and the amount of efficiency that is characterized by interactive video in the development of those skills, the researcher used in this study, the experimental method, and represented the study sample ( 14) students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at the University of the maximum level, the fourth and most distinguished in the game of basketball for the year 2010.2011, and the instrument of the study is a set of skills of deception with the ball, namely, (a change in direction step, cross step weighted deception to correction and then a conversation, deception to correction and correction, a conversation with focal and rotation) and without the ball (forward slash, forward slash and a return to the same place, the pieces in the form of V, the pieces in the form of Z, slash-and-spin) and has been implementing the program through the vision of interactive video, and the use of the researcher test and Wilcoxson to get to know the significance of these differences between the averages, standard deviation and relative weight, and the results proved the effectiveness of interactive video in the development of some skills of deception in the basketball well proportioned and mixed, and were as follows: deception with the ball (change of direction move cross-23.89%, a move likely 14.84 %, deception to correction and Interviewing 24.64%, deception to correction and correction 30.69%, a conversation with focal and turnover 20.94%) and without the ball (forward slash 21.43%, a forward slash and a return to the same place 13.87%, the pieces in the form of V 26.46% , the pieces in the form of Z 9.70%, slash-and-rotation 17.85%), and the most important recommendations for further studies and research to find out the effectiveness of interactive video in physical education, conduct research and studies on the rest of the skills of basketball games and other individual and collective .
