Isolation and identification of Fungi Associated with Some Local Legumes Seeds and Possibility of Its Controlling by Using Some Biological Control Factors and Extract of Pepper Fruits and Alfalfa Roots

Abstract

This study included testing the effects of alcoholic extracts treatments for fruits of pepper plant (Capsicum annuum L.) and roots of alfalfa plant ( Medicago satvia L.) and two fungal filtrates of Trichoderma harzianum Rifai and Aspergillus niger Van Tieghem and interference treatments between them in the fungi that associated for seeds of some legumes plants are mung bean, Cowpea and broad bean seeds, and study the effect this treatment in radial growth and dry weight for some fungi isolated from this seeds, and in germination of it's spores, length of germinal tube, and testing the effect of the antifungi in growth of some pathogenic fungi on solid culture medium potato's Dextrose Agar, and also testing the effect of this treatments in germination of seeds on solid culture medium (PDA) and in sterilized and un sterilized soil. The results showed that there is significant difference, the percentage of seeds germination between filtrates and extracts treatments, and the concentration 15 mg/ml from extracts and 15% from filtrates gave high germinations percentage which hasn't significant difference about treatment of fungi disinfectant (Benomyle) at level of possibility 5%, and related to the interference treatments the results showed there are significant differences in the percentage of seeds germination in measuring with controlled treatment and treatment of fungi disinfectant (Benomyle) at level of possibility 5 %.The all single filtrates and extracts treatment and interference treatments were had significant inhibited effect for radial growth and spore germination of tested fungi on solid culture medium (PDA) in measuring with controlled treatment at level of possibility 5 %.These single treatments and interference treatments were reduced from the everage of radial growth of fungi in signifigant in measuring with controlled treatment at the level possibility 5%.These results showed that single filtrates and extracts treatments and interference treatments where increased from percentage of seeds germination in measuring with controlled treatment at level of possibility 5%.
