اثر استراتيجية الخريطة الدلالية في تنمية مهارات القراءة الجهرية لدى تلاميذ الصف الرابع الابتدائي

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the effectiveness of thelexicon map in developing reading skill to fourth grade students. To achieve the aim of this study the researcher chose randomlysample from (Al-Abara) secondary school which contained toDiyala city ; the sample consisted (59) pupils they are dividedinto two groups experimental group which contain (30) andcontrol group which contain (29) the experimental group wastaught according to the lexicon activity and the control groupwas taught according to traditional method .The researcher equaled the two samples from the variables(the language degree to the midyear ; the father achievement andthe student's age measured in months and the degrees of thelanguage ability) . To measure the pupil's ability of reading theresearcher applied test to measure the ability of reading whichwas taught in the school .After calculating the data and analyzing it statistically byuse parson correlation and Chi Square the result showed :1- The progressing of the experimental group is faster thanthe progressing in the control group .The result of the research showed the following :1-Using modern strategy in education to teach reading skill byusing map strategy .2- Training the teachers and supervisors to develop the redingskills .The researcher suggested the following :1- Making similar study on the fourth primary stage .2- Making similar study on understanding on the differentstages
