Abstract

The present study was aimed of studying the effect of oxidative stress induced by smoking overload between two groups in male in smokers on some biochemical parameters .Blood samples were collected from (10) smokers men, which age between (45-60) compared the result with compared control group(10)men,5 ml of veins Blood were obtained from patients and control individuals after 12 hours of fasting. The serum obtained from the blood was used for enzymatic spectrophotometric was estimated from part of the blood which is placed in tube. comprised study measuring the biochemical parameters :, Glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT) Glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT) , Urea, Uric acid ,Creatinine , Total cholesterol TC, Triglyceride TG ,High density lipoprotein- cholesterol HDL-C ,Low density lipoprotein- cholesterol LDL-C.The result revealed that, increase p<0.05 (GOT) ,(GPT) , activity was found in first group (smokers) Compared with control group. , and a significant increase p<0.05 in Urea level , Uric acid ,Creatinine , Total cholesterol TC, Triglyceride TG.While significant decrease p<0.05 in High density lipoprotein- cholesterol HDL-C in smokers compared control group.
