Abstract

The research includes preparation of Schiff bases ligand (DMAB) [2,3 - Dimethyl -1-phenyl-4-(benzledene)-3-pyrozoline-5–one] derived from condensation reaction of 4-aminoantipyrene with benzaldehyde . The identity of this ligand have been characterized by spectral methods infrared (IR) and measured melting point (m.p.) . Complex of ligand with Cu(II) as symbol (M1) , was prepared. A study of molaritiy conductivity measurement in ethanol solutions at (1 × 10-3) molari and laboratory temperature , the complexity increased the molaritiy conductivity because the ionic character of the complexes . This work was carried out to study the thermal properties such as thermal conductivity, specific heat and thermal diffusivity behavior of compound as a function of the raising of temperature (303-328 K) , and the materials have a low thermal conductivity and increases with increasing temperature, as results show that the specific heat of the compounds prepared. However, the values of specific heat is increasing slightly higher temperatures, leading to the degree heat (313 K) , and it will decreased after this temperature , and the thermal diffusivity of this compound is increasing slightly with the higher temperatures as well , Thermal analyses of materials have been work by differential scanning calorimeter , phases have changed , and free matters have high thermal stability, complexed less matter stability, and compared the results with standard values
