Perceptions of faculty members at universities in the Kurdistan region of Iraq to the concept of effective teaching

Abstract

The Present research aims at identifying the teaching staffs (Positive and negative) concepts of active teaching in the universities of Kurdistan region of Iraq (Social sciences) . it also aims at specifying whether there statistics indicative differences in these concepts according to the variables of the variables of the universities to which the staff members belog. Their sex , age , participation in the courses of methodology , the universities from which they graduated , their years of service in higher education and their academic titles .The data of the study consist of (156) instructors of both sexes who constitute% 84,8 of the original society . The research has been based on a scale designed by the researcher , This scale includes (148) items distributed among (10) constituents of active teaching . The validity of the scale has been tested and verified . When dealing with the data statistically by using the t-test of one sample and two separate samples and analyzing the unilateral difference,scheffe's test and the Least significant difference , the results have shown that the staff members of the sample have positive concepts of the active teaching .
