Abstract

Address the current research study (the dimensions of pragmatic thought in the art of Bauhaus),which included four research chapters, the first chapter included a presentation of the research problem and the specific question follows: What are the dimensions of pragmatic thought in the art of Bauhaus ? And demonstrated objective of this research in the known dimensions of thought pragmatic in the art of Bauhaus , The limits of research has been limited to the study of the dimensions of thought pragmatic in the art of Bauhaus (drawing , sculpture , carpentry , textile , metals ) for the period (1919-1933) in Europe and America through the study and analysis of models pictorial works of art available . In the second chapter , such as the theoretical framework which contained two sections included First research and educational philosophical views of the pragmatic , which in turn split on two axes ensures the first axis (the pragmatic philosophical opinions).The second axis (dimensional educational pragmatic according to the theory of John Dewey) The second topic covered a (Bauhaus school of thought and artistic style)While singled Chapter III action research, as it was determined the research community , and selection of the research sample which amounted to (7) works of art . Finally, the fourth quarter included the results conclusions, recommendations and proposals Among the findings by the researcher are:1-Change:John Dewey said through his theory of educational change in the educational concepts and artistic .2-Motivation:the social environment constitute emotional readiness for behavior with the artist .3-Integrating diodes holistic knowledge : he refused Dewey separation between diodes and tried to reconcile them .4-activate the self through self-expression Dewey confirmed the effectiveness of the individual human self .5-blasting classical constants : the rejection of Dewey formats inspiration and intuition , ancient and modern .6-way of the project: a purposeful activity that occurs in a social environment is the contribution in education.7-accretion of knowledge , Dewey dropped the creativity of the artist active during the counting humanly moving interactive .8-play ( play Palmtejel and performance ), which is a positive activity , as was the play during the industrial action .
