Abstract

It is very well known that mathematics is more difficult discipline to taught and to learn compared with other disciplines. This difficulty considered to be one of the prime reasons for exerting efforts to find means or tools that may contributes in facilitating this main goal. Many mathematicians and strategies planners agreed that the increasing of motivation to study mathematics by student to learn and teachers to teach is a fruitful field, moreover, using mathematics history is one of the main fertilize item which promote the motivation. For a long time, the using mathematics history in its curriculum is a debating matter especially there are so many variables involved in this trend, some of them are contradicting each other depending on the way, the extent and the field in which they were inserted. This work aims to throw light and clarify some of the benefits and obstacles behind the role of using mathematics history.
