The Strategic Impact of E-Banking in Improve Banking Services Quality and Achievement of Competitive Advantages

Abstract

Abstract At the present time, the quality of banking services is the most important necessities to uplift reality of banking sector , gain maximum number of customers, and achieve their satisfaction which it is reflected positively on earnings bank on the hand, and economic life on the other hand. Therefore the problem of research has represented in weakness level of banking services quality which provided by Iraqi banks for their customers compared with the banking institutions and what they are have from human physical and technological possibilities, and other matter concerning with banking consciousness of their customers, their ability and confidence in behavior of new trading with banks. The research aims to put ground to determine the strategic competitive impact of technological developments in the field of banking services and spread what is known electronic banks of quality of these services, and reflection this matter on the competitive advantages of these banks. For purpose of testing hypotheses the research have been designed special questionnaire form for this target that it’s consist of three axes, the first axis has specified to the general information, the second is devoted to test the first hypothesis of the research while the third axis dedicated to test the second major hypothesis. The results of statistical analysis have been shown there is moral effect through adoption of electronic banking techniques (electronic money changers “ATM automated teller machines”; telephone banking; and electronic clearing services) on standards of banking services quality (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, security and courtesy). Also there is moral effect to improve standards of banking services quality for achievement of strategic competitive advantages of banking economic units (strategy of at cost discrimination or differentiation; strategy of total quality; and renewal and innovation strategy). The researcher has put several recommendations according to the results that have been reached it.
