Eating Disorders scale and its relationship to anorexia nervosa among teenagers aged (11-15 years)

Abstract

The eating as an instinctive behavior for living organisms in general represents a target to achieve some of the health, psychological and social purposes of the human being. some family and customary practices maybe stated by some layers ,so the behavior of eating may adopt unusual rituals such as the natural response to hunger and satiety and overweight resulting from the lack of irregularity in having food. The most important characteristic of anorexia nervosa is the underlying motive behind the rejection of the food which is intense fear of weight gain, which does not appear in other disorders. The signifance of the research is in the nature of the relationship between eating disorders and anorexia nervosa, especially among teenagers aged(11-15) years. Additionally , food affects in human behavior and mental and muscular activity. It also affects the psychological and physical health. One of the characteristics of modern society it has been characterized in regard to body weight , extreme fear of obesity and health complications as a result of the proliferation of health, medical and nutritional awareness. The spread of what is known as the age diseases ; namely , cardiovascular disease , fear of obesity and excessive complications of heartattack . Moreover, the researcher is concerned with mental health, education, and health, so the researcher aims to find a relationship through a special measure between eating disorders and anorexia nervosa among teenagers aged (11-15 years)
