Study The Advantage Of Dermatoglyphics In Detecting Women With Breast Cancer

Abstract

This study aim to explain the advantage of tip ridge pattern (arch, radial loop, ulnar loop and whorl) of both hands in breast cancer detection by using 70 women, divided in two groups: control group which include thirty healthy women and cancer group which include forty women with breast cancer. The results showed increasing in the number of arches, radial loops, ulnar loops and whorls in cancer group in comparison with control group. But this increasing didn’t reach to significant level (P≤0.05).
