Knowledge Management and its role in advancement strategy in the Higher education

Abstract

This research deals with the study of Knowledge management processes and the role of the strategy of advancement at the university education, from providing a theoretical framework of modern put forward by the most prominent raised by writers and researchers around the variables of the study as well as part of a practical analytical views of a selected sample within the study population included managers in the higher education sector - in the faculties of the University of Maysan (university president and his assistants, the deans and their associates and heads of departments) and the sample size (40) manager. The main hypothesis of the research that ( the adoption of Knowledge management, according to the its dimensions in the diagnosis of Knowledge, Knowledge identify, Knowledge generation, Knowledge storage, Knowledge distribution, Knowledge application leads to the upgrading strategy in the advancement of higher education. The two researchers used the descriptive method in the theoretical part and statistical analysis in the practical part, and developed for this purpose questionnaire fit the nature of the research and its objectives. The research found many of conclusions , the most important of which Knowledge management in substance represent overall positive trend is particularly evident embody in dialogues and exchange of expertise and commitment to studying the workflow and the chances of success, and direct dialogues with experts and dissemination of innovations. Find out as a set of recommendations was the most important, the need to activate the communication with the external environment by the university study sample for the purpose of sharing Knowledge through the participation of experts from the Knowledge inside and outside the country and at the level of prestigious universities.
