Abstract

The research aims to know the difficulties that facing teachers of geography for intermediate stage are facing and the proposed solutions. The researcher has adopted, to achieve the aims of the search, a questionnaire distributed to 281 teachers who are teaching geography subject across Babylon Governorate along with the staff of the General Directorate of education in Babylon. The difficulties were divided into six main areas: scientific material, school textbook, educational objectives related to the subject and the accompanying activities, the teaching methods, and education materials, evaluation and testing).The results came out with certain recommendations and suggestions that, as the researcher may think, can help in paving the way to overcome the difficulties teachers may face during their duty.
