Allelopathic Effect of Sinopis arvernsis on Germination and Seedlings Growth of Zea Mays.

Abstract

This study was carried out in director of seed testing and certification / Salahalddeen branch in 2013 to study the antagonistic effect of residues bush wild mustard arvernsis Sinopis at germination and seedling growth of maize.Experiment included the application of different concentrations of water extracts of wild mustard plant with four concentrations (0,2,4 and 6)% in addition to the control treatment (distilled water).result showed that the concentration 6% has the highest percentage of inhibition on germination and speed of germination which reach to 49.24 % germination speed decorated 2.47 cm/day when treated with 6% watery extract of decreasing of the radical leant and speed of elongation to 7.91 cm and 1.87 cm/ day respectably , with decreasing of the plumule length and speed elongation significantly when treated by aqueous of Sinopis concentration 6% . of the group shout and root reaching 6.3,7.1 cm and 1.39,1.42cm/day respectively . and finely treatment with 6% of aqueous extract of reduced the radical and plumule dry weight 0.027 , 0.024 gm respectively .
