Abstract

abstractthe mini handball and its exercises are considered ones of the lovely activities and events for the young and they had , the same time, an effective impact in developing the physical abilities and skills that are depended on the performing of the artistic skills. it was doubtless that the school sport is the main source of representing the national and other sport teams, in addition to their healthy and educational goals for individuals through practicing different sport games and activities. the sport lessons are still the field of building and developing the motor and physical abilities that constitute the backbone of sport proficiency . this is related directly with the playing and enthusiasm motives. throughout the researchers' observation and interest in the lessons of physical and sport education that are based on scientific foundations helping in carrying out the objectives of the lesson. the modern mini handball and its exercises had an impact in developing the physical abilities and the role of school sport in activating the sport activity in developing the physical abilities and skills because of its large effect in keeping the health. the exercises that are in the form of small games that are used to attract the individuals of this aged stage to perform them eagerly, without boring and effectively and encouraged the students to perform it in the best form. the objectives were determined in preparing the exercises of the mini handball for the intermediate school students aged (12 - 13) years old and to know the effect of the exercises of mini handball on some physical abilities and skills for these students for the development because this aged stage learned the skills of handball according to an old approach and the current approach was intended to develop the physical abilities and skills. the importance of this study was in the preparation of the exercises of the mini handball and explaining their effect on developing the students' physical abilities and skills of the intermediate stage aged (12 - 13) years old .the researchers used the empirical method for the experimental group that included (24) students .they used the exercises of handball and the tests of the burst for the hands and legs and bearing the speed related to the skills of ball handling, dribble and shooting. the results were processed by the statistical system spss. they showed differences between the pre- and post- tests which indicated that the method depended on the exercises of the mini handball had an effect on developing the physical abilities and skills of the study sample and this appeared through the significant results of the post tests . also the significant results showed that the development in the burst power of the arms and the power that was recognized by its speed of the legs was because the sample followed the exercises. the mini handball had an large importance in attracting the players to do the physical and skill performance effectively ,properly ,and professionally because it had the exciting and enthusiasm factor. the important recommendations were: the school curriculum that include the activity of mini handball for developing the players' physical and skill performance must be used to arrive to the high levels. the exercises followed should be used in developing physical abilities directly for aged stages that are younger this aged stage of the present study. the physical lessons should be (3) lessens per a week in order to improve the motor, healthy, and physical case of the students in the intermediate stages.
