The Difficulties of teaching general Arabic to Unspecialized departments Within the light of Arabic language skills

Abstract

This study was conducted at University of Diyala college of Education. It aimed to know the difficulties in teaching general Arabic for unspecialized departments whitin the light of Arabic language skills by answering the following questions:what are the Difficulties that face the students in gaining linguistic skills represented by listening , speaking, reading and writing skills by The student,s point of view ? The method of practical performing or observing by relied methods in teaching practical skills which replaced the style of simulation or imitation, we mean by dividing the teaching process into steps or stages, and to check if the learner's has commrehended every step of performing befor moving to the next step the importance of this research is the aim of learining Arabic language in all stages, especially at college So that the learner gains the skill of listening and grows inside him the skills of beauty felling of linguistic expression or literal and to develop the skill of dictation, beautiful hand writing and organization where he can write by heart and read what he has written fluently. the individual should gain agroup of linguistic standard terms which help him to express himself and thought that this is what university studies want they try to make sure that the college student should gain all the mentioned skills .Sample of study was (100) male and female students.The the researcher in the study depended on the questionnaire containing (58) items distributed to four domains : 1- listening skill 2-Writing skillsReading skill 3-. Speaking skill 4- By Using Pearson correlation the , weighted means, percentage weight, and statistical means According to the questionnaire researcher reached to several conclusions most important the weakness related curriculum of general Arabic language materials by using linguistic skills, might find or face difficulties in grammar and linguistic during writing.
