Dimensions of Entrepreneurial Orientation in Building the Human Capital A prospective study of the views of a sample of administrative leaders in the Northern Technical University institutions in Ninawa Governorate

Abstract

The current research tests the correlation and impact relationship Between the variable of entrepreneurial orientation in its four dimensions (creativity, capture opportunities, risk tolerance, rush to competition) and the human capital variable. The problem of research was the obvious decrease in the performance levels of the administrative leaders in the technical education institutions in Nineveh governorate, which is represented by the technical institutes and colleges in terms of management and organizational management of these institutions, that reflects the weakness of having indicators of the trend of low levels of performance in general and organizational and educational performance in particular. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. Accordingly, a sample of (45) forms was distributed to the administrative leaders about the sample of the study in the surveyed educational institutions , which were deliberately selected and 40 forms were returned which have been subjected to statistical analysis. The main hypothesis of the research was that there was a significant correlation between the dimensions of orientation leadership dimensions and the process of building human capital. The data were analyzed using the SPSS ver. 13 program. A number of statistical methods were used to verify hypotheses, including Pearson, Regression analysis.The results were identical to the research hypotheses. It was found that there were significant correlation and effect relationships for all dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation variable and the human capital variable. In light of this, a set of proposals and recommendations were formulated that could benefit from concerned administrative leadership in the surveyed organizations,The most important findings of the research is the existence of the ambiguity of the concept and the importance of entrepreneurial orientation with its four dimensions and human capital. Besides, there is no clear vision about the impact of implications of entrepreneurial orientation dimensions to developing and promoting the staff of human capital.
