Factors affecting the application of the credit rating system according to the Basel II agreement Of the Iraqi banks

Abstract

Credit classification is the grade given to bank from specialized credit crating agencies. It can be looked at as the ability to fulfill the obligation towards the others. This grade can be useful to give a guide point to the high capitals in different markets. This rating also shows how keen the financial companies are to provide the utmost levels of capability, profitability and their tendenance towards expansion-development plus the efforts shown by their staffe. It is important to study the Basel/2 resolutions regarding the credit rating in banks, which will reveals the factors effecting the rating. The study is divided into four categories (or: sections):- 1.The first concerned with the general layout of the study. 2.The second section includes the theoretical side of the research.3.The third section includes the practical side of research.By examining the research hypothesis. 4.The forth section includes the results and conclusions.5.Key word : Basel / 2 , Credit Rating
