Abstract

Delving into the Holy Quran and extracting its sublime meaning requires a multifaceted investigation. These hidden concepts and evidences which are revealed through the exalted expressions and embellished by eloquence techniques make it greatly impressive. One of these techniques is that of precedence and postposition which has been abundantly used in the Noble Book of Quran. So if we observe the Quranic chapters, specifically the long chapters and the subjects mentioned therein, we will realize the purposes behind precedence and its major reasons. In this behalf, this article seeks to pursue this subject in the holy chapter of “Al-Mu’minun” based on the behavioral approach. The results in this article indicate that magnifying a specific point or person, as well as adequateness, abundance, emphasis, restriction and assonance are the mostly used techniques in this noble chapter
