The reality of the availability and use of modern teaching aids to teach art education at the Amal Institute for Deaf and Mute

Abstract

The researcher studied the most important modern technological means available and the degree of use by the teacher of art education as educational aids for students with hearing disabilities at the Institute of Hope for the deaf and dumb in Babylon and the most prominent difficulties faced by the teacher of art education in their use, where revealed the reality of the availability of technological means that can be invested positively to activate the situation The aim of the research was to uncover the availability and use of modern hearing aids for students with a hearing impairment and the most important difficulties facing the teacher of art education at the Amal Institute for Deaf and Mute for the academic year 2016 -2017. The research community includes the teaching staff of the Amal Institute for the Deaf and Mute (23) (21) teacher, trainer and researcher The researcher used tools such as observation, interviewing and questionnaire, and used the method of content analysis for the questionnaire and descriptive analytical approach to the interview and the observation came out with results. The most important was the lack of modern educational means for the disabled student in the Institute of Deaf and Mute(4%). In the Institute of Hope for the deaf and dumb in the province of Babylon, and the researcher suggested several suggestions and recommendations.
