Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the effect of teaching using systemic thinking skills in the attitudes towards mathematics at the scientific fourth-grade female students , The study sample consisted of (54) students and distributed to two equivalent groups were randomly assigned to the experimental group studied according the Systemic thinking skills and a control group studied in the usual method , the scale of attitudes toward mathematics was built like Likert scale triple and consisted of (30) paragraph and ascertained its validity and reliability. The data has been treated by using (t-test) for two independent samples. The result of the study showed: A statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of students of the experimental group and the control in favour of the experimental group in the scale of the attitudes, which means that teaching using systemic thinking skills have been instrumental in the positive attitudes towards mathematics at the scientific fourth-grade female students
