Sides in The Administrative and Cultural life of Jerusalem Vicariate in the Mamluk Period

Abstract

This study dealt with an important subject, namely, the case of Jerusalem in the Mamluk period. The study dealt with the implications of the declaration of the Jerusalem Vicariate. The study attempted to find out the date of the establishment of the Jerusalem Vicariate as well as the jobs of in the Jerusalem Vicariate. There were several types of jobs: military jobs, clerk jobs, and religious jobs.The flourishing of science and education in the city of Jerusalem during the Mamluk period, and the cultural boom in the city of Jerusalem in the Mamluk era, the establishment of many scientific and literary institutions, which varied between schools, mosques, libraries, barges, gouges and angles
