The Attitudes of Iraqi Political Parties towards some National and Arabian Events

Abstract

This work reviews the attitudes of the Iraq political parties and organizations in 1963-1968 in the Arab Home land between the two coups of 8 February 1963 and 17 July 1968 which are manifested by political conferences held by the parties as well as the overt and secret journalism (newspapers and tabloids) . locally, the Iraqi political parties played an important role in the coup of February 1963 that outed the prime Minister Abdul Kareem Qasim from power (1958-1963) and their reactions toward the movement of 18 November 1963 and the decisions of Nationalization and the establishment of the Arabian Social Association 1964 and the situation on Kurdish issue in the face of the successive. At the Arabian level , the Iraqi political parties played an important role concerning the Arab contemporary issues in 1963-1968 the most prominent of which are the attitudes of these parties towards as the tri-unity among Iraq, Syria , and Egypt and the covenant of 17 April 1963 and the Palestinian issue in both its events and progression including the war of 5 June 1967.
