Abstract

The research aims to identify a training program based on social learning theory to develop autistic children's social skills. The researcher has adopted the quasi-experimental method with a pre-test group. The research sample has consisted of (10) teachers (5 male teachers and 5 female teachers). Before starting a program, the researcher has applied the measure of social skills to identify their social skills before developing the program. The program consisted of (20) sessions and after completing the program building, the researcher has applied the measure of social skills upon the research sample to identify changes before and after developing the program. Also, those data have been statistically processed by Mann–Whitney U test; results have shown a training program leading to development of children's social skills of the research sample.
