(Money and Children) in the Koran (a study)

Abstract

The words fortune(s) and children were examined in this study as a collocation. It was necessary to include two sections and a preface entitled: ((Fortunes and children in the linguistic concept and the Quranic usage)). The first section was entitled: ((Multiplicity of wordings of fortunes and children in the context of the Quran)). The word "fortune" and "children" occurred in several forms; the plural as in (fortunes and boys), in the context of supply, gratitude and remembrance of blessings. "fortunes and children" when the address is directed to the general public or a large group of them, and in the singular when targeted at an individual or limited individuals, defined as privatized or denigrated for degradation and to diminish their position towards the grace of God in the Hereafter. The second topic, entitled "Significance of grammatical methods in the verses of fortune and children", divided into five points, the first of which was: ("Preceding fortune to children in the Qur'anic context"); as often fortune precedes children except in two places investigated by the study. The second is ((The significance of negation in the verses of fortune and children)). The third section is ((The significance of interrogative in the verses of fortune and children)), and the forth is ((the significance of prevention in the verses of fortune and children)). The fifth section is ((The significance of conjunction to fortune and children)).
