Investigating the Range of Accomplishing Self-monitoring in Improving Learning Practice among Preparatory Students

Abstract

The current research aims at investigating the accessibility of self-monitoring to improve the learning process among students in preparatory schools. After checking the tool of analysis according to psycho-metric pointers, this has been applied to 400 students (males and females) from both branches of study. The results show that according to the null hypothesis, self-monitoring is not available among the students. There are no statistical differences according to the variance of gender (males and females), but the study show statistical differences on behalf of the scientific branch students. The research concludes with some recommendations and suggestions.
