Evaluation of the toxicity and determination LC50 of some Termicides for termite control Microcerotermes diversus silvestri (Isoptera:Termitidae).

Abstract

The results of the study of laboratory evaluation of the toxicity of Termicides : Termevet Maxxthor , vinox , Agenda , Go Ban , Dursban , Termitor , Cyren , Biflex and Chlorofet variation in toxicity lines of Termicides and the values of lethal concentration LC50; they have observed high value of the LC50 of Termicides Termevet as it reached LC50 =1.51 and low lethal concentrations LC50 for Termicides Chlorofet values as it reached LC50=6.60 showed respond to the concentrations used in the killer rate for the worker termites to the axis of toxicty line Superiority the Termicides Termevet reaching the highest average rates of killing 97.07% at a concentration 8ppm and efficiently relative amounted to 455.6% and the toxicity index was 100%, while it was less Termicides Superiority the average rates of killing Termicides Chlorofet as it amounted to 46.1 % at a concentration of 8ppm and efficiently relative amounted to 100.0% and amounted to 21.95% toxicity Index..
