The Degree of Practicing Moral Leadership by Principals of Basic Schools at Jericho and AL Aghwar as Perceived by Teachers

Abstract

The study aims at identifying the degree of practicing moral leadership by principals of basic schools at Jericho and Al Aghwar as perceived by teachers. It also aims at recognizing the effect of each variable (gender, academic qualification, and years of experience) on the degree of practicing moral leadership on teachers. Population of the study constituted of all basic school teachers (172) from which a 100-random sample was selected. The researcher used the descriptive approach using a questionnaire to collect data. Validity and reliability of the study tool was guaranteed via scientific methods. Validity index scored (0.081). Results of the study showed that the degree of practicing moral leadership was high with no statistically significant differences for practicing moral leadership attributed to gender, academic qualification or years of experience.
