The cinematic structure in the poetry of Adnan Sayegh

Abstract

The contemporary Arabic poem has interacted over the decades with several literary arts such as the story, the novel and the play, and borrowed from these arts its own methods. But more importantly, in our time they transcended the boundaries of these literary arts and interacted with fine arts such as plastic art and film art. That the contemporary poem has paved a wide road towards modernity by employing cinematic style as the objective and subjective site and the sequence of names and vocabulary in the montage of poetry, and among the contemporary poets who supplemented their poems in the style of cinematography poet Adnan Sayegh. One of the important motives that made the jeweler employs cinematic methods is the wars he witnessed in the years of his life so that he made him see the world in a precise and transparent manner. Hence, this study is based on the descriptive-analytical approach to applying the visionary's vision through cinematic techniques and the sequence of names and vocabulary in the montage Poetic. The results of this study are that the method taken by the jeweler in his poetry has made the recipient enter the world of narrative and cinematic, and that by this method we note that his poems are mixed with a poetic spirit and a vision of cinematic far from ambiguity and thus divided the research into two sections objectively and self-site and the sequence of acts and names in Poetic montage.
