Abstract

Today, the world is witness to developments and changes of different political, economic, technological and other dimensions. The focus on quality management systems has been one of the mechanisms that proved efficient in meeting modern requirements and achieving success for organizations. (The impact of the Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301: 2012 on strategic success). The objective of the research was to identify the dimensions of a fundamental relationship between business continuity management system and strategic success, Business Continuity Management System as an independent variable in the strategic success as a variable respondent. The questionnaire included two sections: the first section covered information about the respondents; the second section included the sections designed to measure the strength of the research variables. The research was based on two main hypotheses: The second hypothesis was based on the test of the effect between the two variables. In order to achieve the objective of the research, a set of statistical tools were adopted to process data such as (simple linear regression coefficient, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation). The research concluded with a number of conclusions, the most important of which was the weakness of the support and attention of the senior management in clarifying the basic contents and principles of the business continuity management system, which led to the failure of the General Establishment of Civil Aviation (the research community) to adopt a specific policy for the continuity of business, Business in strategic success. The study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the commitment of the senior management and its financial and administrative commitment to implement the contents of the business continuity management system because this will allow it to achieve strategic success and increase the trust and loyalty of the concerned parties and to raise awareness among the employees regarding the continuity of business in the organization.
