Abstract

The study of the history of the Islamic Dawa Party is an urgent need to know the history of the contemporary Islamic movement in Iraq, which did not examine and study before 2003, but only limited to the strong opposition by the Iraqi government under the former regime, and even after the fall of that government in 2003 and the establishment of the new State of Iraq did not take Such as the right of study and analysis, especially since the Islamic Dawa Party is the backbone and pivotal movement since its founding at the end of 1957 until now, based on the intellectual and jihadist assets of the founder of the martyr Imam Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and the sacrifices of its members preachers, In which we discussed the birth of the Islamic Dawa Party in terms of the founding principles that led to the Constituent Assembly on 12 October 1957 and the Karbala meeting in 1958 and then proceeded to clarify the role of the martyr Imam Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, who was the leader and the leader of the party.Key words: Islamic Propagation Party, Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, Foundations of Founding, Founding Meeting.
