A psychological adjustment and its relationship with skillful performance of the players of individual games and group in the Faculty of Physical Education

Abstract

The researcher continued to follow more than one individual or group game and watched the players as well as their relationship to some of them found that there is a weakness in the psychological adjustment of some players, which called the researcher to study this phenomenon, being a phenomenon occurs for some players and lead to the decline levels and achievements in the performance of their skills, despite Continued training during the lesson.Research aims :- Identify the level of psychological adjustment of the players of individual games and games in the gymnastics game and basketball players in the third stage- To identify the relationship of psychological adjustment with the performance of skill in the players of the individual games and the difference in the game of chess and basketball students in the third stage. The researcher used the descriptive method with the survey method because it is the most appropriate method for the nature of the problem and to achieve the aims of the study. The population and the sample of the research The research population was chosen in a purposive method by the students of the third stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The sample consisted of (15) students of individual game gymnastics and (15) students of basketball games randomly selected, thus making the total number of the research sample (30) studentsThe main conclusions reached by the researcher are:1 - There are significant differences and statistical significance between psychological adjustment and individual games (Gymnastics) and basketball group (basketball)2 - There is a significant difference between the level of performance in the game of gymnastics and psychological adjustment and statistical significance.3 - No significant differences between the level of performance basketball and psychological adjustment and statistical significance.The most important recommendations recommended by the researcher are :1 - The preparation of advanced programs to support the psychological and social adjustment of college students and help them and training in the steps and skills of restraint and control their emotions.
