The extent of implying the heulth education coneepts in the science book of the sixth primary chass

Abstract

THE RESEARCH AIMS TO IDENTIFY "THE CONCEPTS OF HEALTH EDUCATION THAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE SCIENCE BOOK FOR THE SIXTH GRADE OF PRIMARY". THE RESEARCHER USED THE ANALYTICAL DESCRIPTIVE METHOD WHICH DEPENDS ON THE CONTENT ANALYSIS USING THE CONTENT ANALYSIS FORM PREPARED BY THE RESEARCHER. THE FINAL FORM OF THE CARD WAS MADE UP OF (5) MAIN AREAS, OF WHICH (29) CONCEPTS. THE SCIENCE BOOK WAS SELECTED FOR THE SIXTH GRADE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2016/2017. THE NUMBER OF PAGES ANALYZED (210) PAGES OF THE TOTAL PAGES OF THE BOOK CONSISTS OF (231) THE RESEARCHER EXCLUDED QUESTIONS AND IMAGES FROM THE ANALYSIS. STUDY TOOL: ANALYSIS OF THE CONTENT OF THE SCIENCE BOOK FOR THE SIXTH GRADE PRIMARY. AND BY ANALYZING THE CONTENT OF SCIENCE BOOK FOR THE SIXTH GRADE DONE TO IDENTIFY A LIST OF CONCEPTS OF HEALTH EDUCATION THAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE SCIENCE BOOK FOR THE SIXTH GRADE OF PRIMARY, AND IT CONSISTED OF (5) MAIN AREAS OF WHICH 29 MAIN SECONDARY CONCEPTS , AND THE NUMBER OF CONCEPTS OF HEALTH EDUCATION, WHICH WERE DEALT WITH IN THE SCIENCE BOOK FOR THE SIXTH GRADE, IS (210) CONCEPTS AND (75.53%), WHILE THE NUMBER OF HEALTH CONCEPTS NOT COVERED BY THE BOOK IS (68) CONCEPTS AND BY (24.47%). ANDTHE RESEARCHER NOTED THERE IS A CLEAR DEFICIENCY IN THE FIELD OF COMMUNITY HEALTH AND MENTAL HEALTH WHERE THERE ARE NO REPETITIONS OF THE CONCEPTS OF HEALTH EDUCATION IN THESE AREAS. IN LIGHT OF THE RESULTS OF THE RESEARCHER, THE NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THESE TWO AREAS AND TO INCLUDE THEM IN THE BOOK OF SCIENCE AND INTEGRATE THEM INTO THE TOPICS OF THE BOOK BY ADDING UNITS OR REFORMULATING THE BOOK IN A NEW FORMAT CONTAINED IN THOSE AREAS AND WORK TO COMBINE THE EFFORTS OF THE SCHOOL WITH OTHER COMMUNITY INSTITUTIONS, PROGRAMS FOR HEALTH EDUCATION.
