Abstract

Russia sought all its political, military and economic efforts to collectinformation by encouraging the exploration of the Caucasus, coasts,economic potentials and religious situations of traders, geographers, doctors, andmilitary personnel from the beginning of the eighteenth century in a fruitful andserious manner, unlike their first attempts.
