The Role of Extracurricular Physical Activities in the Educational Process from the View of Physical Education Teachers in the City of Shaqra, Majmaah, Dawadmi

Abstract

The current study aimed at identifying the role of extracurricular physical activities in the educational process from the point of view of physical education teachers, as well as whether there are statistically significant differences in teachers’ opinions according to the two variables (experience, educational area). The researchers used the descriptive curriculum. The two researchers built a tool that was made up of four axes: (school environment, student, teacher, curriculum). The results showed that there is a significant role of extracurricular physical activities in the educational process, where the focus of the teacher came first, and eventually the focus of the school environment. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the role of extracurricular physical activities in the educational process due to the study variables (experience, educational area).
