Medical knowledge in Medina during the reign of the Prophet, and the Prince of the Caliphs 1-40AH / 622-660AD

Abstract

This research shed light on the finest and most prestigious scientific civilization known to humanity by virtue of the teachings of the tolerant Islam, the teachings that led to a revolution in health and medical thought consistent with the level of mental and human development in the early period of Arab Islamic history. And the medical that was prevalent in Madinah since it took over the leadership of the Islamic Arab State in the year1AH /622 AD, and represented a center of intellectual attraction, and this is enough pride. The nature of this brief and useful study required its division into an introduction and three questions. After the introduction and indicating the importance and purpose of the selection of research, the first section to talk about the health directives of the Apostle in Medina 1-11AH / 622-632AD, has been devoted to discuss several topics, namely: food, hygiene, sports, prevention, treatment. The second topic discussed the health and preventive health directions in Madinah in the era of the Caliphate 11-40AH / 632-640AD. It was divided into four axes in a chronological sequence. The first topic dealt with medical directives during the reign of Caliph Abu Bakr al-Siddiq 11-13AH / 632-6345AD.The second axis included the discussion of health and medical directives during the reign of Caliph Omar ibn al-Khattab13-23AH / 634-643AD. Then the focus of the research on the third axis, and included the health directives under the reign of Caliph Uthman bin Affan 23-35 / 643-655m, and the fourth axis was devoted to talk about the health and medical guidance of the Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib, 35-40AH / 655-660AD. While the third topic included the definition of the most important doctors and the women in Medina during the reign of the Prophet and the era of the Caliphate. The study concluded with a brief study, in which the most prominent and important findings of the study of medical knowledge in Medina during the reign of the Prophet and the era of the Caliphs, Al-Rashidin, 1-40AH / 622-660AD.
